(TRUNEWS) Several earthquakes have been felt in recent days, in various parts of the world.
A quake registering 6.6 on the Richter scale rocked the Mediterranean Sea between Spain and Morocco Monday, and was felt in the Spanish cities of Seville and Malaga. About 15 people were injured. There were major aftershocks.
Residents in Anchorage, Alaska felt an earthquake Sunday that was centered off the coast, and measured 7.1. More than 10,000 people were without power.
Last week, a magnitude 6.9 earthquake hit off the western coast of Mexico.
The Bible said in the last days, there will be an increase in earthquakes and other natural disasters.
For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places; there will be famines. These are but the beginning of the birth pains. Mark 13:8.
