Obama’s ISIS Czar met with George Soros Prior to ‘Appointment’ - from TRUNEWS

(TRUNEWS) According to newly updated logs, billionaire globalist George Soros met with President Obama’s top adviser on ISIS, Rob Malley, in a previously secret White House rendezvous in Oct. 2015.

Joined by his top aide Michelle Vachon, George Soros met with Malley and Bulgarian political scientist and chairmen of a foreign policy think tank in Europe, Ivan Krastev, late in the afternoon on October 8th in the Executive Office Building.

The Washington Free Beacon reached out to the White House for comment on Malley’s meeting, but they did not not reply to the request.

Originally the NSC Coordinator for the Middle East and North Africa, Malley was elevated weeks after the meeting to the position of Senior Advisor to the President for the Counter-ISIL Campaign in Iraq and Syria.

Though not yet disclosed, based on the meetings guest list the Washington Free Beacon believes ISIS was the topic of discussion.

Krastev for example, published an op-ed in the New York Times the day before the meeting analyzing the power struggle between Russia and the U.S. in Syria and Soros has been vocal about his stance on Putin being no ally of the west against ISIS.

Another clue that this meeting was an attempt to externally influence White house policies lies in the fact that Malley served as a Middle East director on the International Crisis Group, an organization where Soros sits on the board of trustees and is a major funder.

Also of note, Malley was fired from the 2008 Obama campaign after the public discovered he had entered into direct negotiations with the terrorist group Hamas while working at International Crisis Group.

Malley told the New York Times at the time that he had agreed to leave the campaign “because it was becoming a distraction to me and to Senator Obama’s campaign, and to avoid any misperception—misrepresentation being the more accurate word—about the candidate’s position regarding the Islamist movement.”

Malley’s critics have said he holds an “anti-Israeli, pro-Palestinian bias” possibly inherited from his father, Simon Malley, a well-known journalist born in Egypt who had ties to the Egyptian government.

In a report by NBC News, it is noted that Malley ran into his first scandal in 2001, when he co-wrote an article about a Camp David summit on Israeli-Palestinian negotiations. In the article, Malley said it was unfair to blame only Palestinian leader Yasir Arafat — who most observers argued was the reason the talks fell apart — and argued for “a more nuanced and realistic” analysis pitting Ehud Barak, the Israeli leader at the time, with partially responsibility.

In 2002, Malley argued that the Israeli army had intentionally and maliciously damaged medical facilities and schools using “security concerns” as a false excuse. “The logic behind these actions appears to have less to do with furthering Israel’s security than with its political goals,” he wrote in the New York Times.

In 2006 another example of Malley’s pro-Palestinian bias arose in the public eye, as he argued that Hamas’s rise to power in the Gaza Strip was “not necessarily a fatal setback” to diplomacy.

“Even on the diplomatic front, Hamas’ victory is not necessarily a fatal setback,” Malley said at the time. “The Islamists’ approach is more in tune with current Israeli thinking than the [Palestinian Authority’s] loftier goal of a negotiated permanent peace ever was.”

Aside from the International Crisis Group, Malley also served on the advisory council of J Street, a liberal fringe group also bank rolled by Soros.

This was the 13th time that Soros has officially been a guest at the White House, according to the visitor logs.

Including in those visits were trips to speak with President Obama and Joe Biden, as well as a visit with Obama’s adviser John Podesta, who met Soros and billionaire climate activist investor Tom Steyer, for a lunchtime chat at the White House in February. This meeting was likely not about ISIS, but the White House’s climate change initiatives which have now artificially elevated global warming to a national security concern.
