The man who killed at least 10 people and wounded dozens in a mass shooting attack upon Umpqua Community College in Rosewood, Oregon has been identified as 26-year-old Chris Harper-Mercer.
The killer was armed with three handguns and a rifle for his rampage. He was also wearing body armor.
The shooter’s social media pages showed admiration for Nazis and the Irish Republican Army, who killed over 1800 people in their terror attacks.

Multiple witnesses say Christians were the gunman’s target. Witnesses say that if he found someone who admitted being a Christian, the gunman told them “Good, you’ll see God in a second” before shooting them in the head.
The shooter died after a shootout with police. A police source described him as “an angry young man who was very filled with hate.”
The murderer also posted on social media praise for Vester Flanagan, the man who killed two television reporters during a live morning broadcast.
“On an interesting note, I have noticed that so many people like him are all alone and unknown, yet when they spill a little blood, the whole world knows who they are. A man who was known by no one, is now known by everyone,” he wrote of Flanagan. “His face splashed across every screen, his name across the lips of every person on the planet, all in the course of one day. Seems the more people you kill, the more you’re in the limelight.”
