The Moscow nanny who paraded the head of a four-year-old girl at a train station showed no remorse at her court hearing Wednesday. The 38-year-old was yawning during the proceedings, according to The Express.
Guilchekhra Bobolulova was dressed in a black hijab yelling “Allahu Akhbar” outside the station with the child’s head on Monday, as reported by TRUNEWS before she was apprehended.
She is an Uzbekistan national and mother of three who was allegedly working in Russia illegally after getting divorced.
Bobolulova pleaded guilty to beheading Nastya Meshcheryakova but shook her head “no” when asked if she felt sorry for what she did. She told a journalist she murdered the girl because “Allah ordered me to”. She explained to police that she heard voices.
Police are searching for the nanny’s boyfriend, who they believe was with her during the murder. CBS has reported authorities are looking for a group of individuals who may have “incited” her.
Recently Russian officials warned of possible terror attacks. Police had discovered a weapons cache at a bomb-making factory run by ISIS.
The mainstream Russian television stations did not report on the story. There were rumors the news was withheld to prevent ethnic clashes.
The victim had some physical disabilities. Her family recently moved to Moscow to try and make more money for medical treatments.
