The Syrian envoy to the United Nations is accusing Turkish officials of helping terrorists in Syria.
Bashar al-Ja’afari warned in a letter to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon that goal of Turkey’s president Tayyip Erdogan is to bring back the Ottoman Empire.
“Since 2011, an unprecedented terrorist war has been waged against the Syrian Arab Republic by armed terrorist groups, the members of which come from more than 100 countries,” he said in the letter, according to TASS.
Ja’afari claimed weapons, money and logistical help has been provided to terrorist cells crossing the border.
He also described the downing of the Russian Jet near the Syrian-Tukey border in November as being a ‘stab in the back’.
Recently, a number of accusations have been waged against Turkish government officials, which include claims Turkey has traded oil with ISIS, as reported by TRUNEWS. http://ift.tt/1MH6Crx
