‘Gay Paris’ is living up to form as new laws allowing same sex marriage lead to nearly one in seven weddings in the French capital taking place between homosexual couples.
Figures from the national statistics office for 2013 show that the rest of the country lags far behind Paris in the same sex marriage stakes, at just 3 percent of the total.
