A new statement from Dyess Air Force base confirmed that the “missiles” EverythingLubbock.com showed on Tuesday are part of a training installation called the “Post/Fluvanna Site.”
Tuesday, officials told our reporter that the fenced off location near Highway 1269 was a training facility. The new statement on Wednesday revealed more specifics about what they call a “Threat Emitter site.”
US Air Force Tech Sergeant Joshua Jasper wrote that it is a small site similar to a training location near Snyder. They are used to “replicate threat signals in a training environment that our aircrews may encounter in support of combat operations.”
