Anti-Trump protests shake California for second day - from TRUNEWS

The billionaire businessman was forced to halt his motorcade and go through a back entrance to a hotel to give a speech to the California Republican convention and avoid several hundred loud protesters gathered outside.

“That was not the easiest entrance I’ve ever made,” Trump told the gathering in Burlingame, south of San Francisco, after weaving around a barrier and clambering across a road to get to the venue. “It felt like I was crossing the border actually.”

Demonstrators, some of whom held Mexican national flags, at one point rushed security gates at the hotel and police officers had their batons out.

The mogul had already drawn protests in California, with chaotic scenes on Thursday outside a Trump rally in Costa Mesa. Anti-Trump protesters smashed the window of a police car and blocked traffic. Some 20 people were arrested.

Protests have become common outside rallies for Trump who has earned ardent critics, as well as support from Republican voters, for his rhetoric against illegal immigration. His campaign abandoned a rally in Chicago last month after clashes between his supporters and protesters.

He has accused Mexico of sending drug dealers and rapists across the U.S. border and has promised to build a wall and make Mexico pay for it.

Trump, who described himself this week as the party’s presumptive nominee, would take a large stride toward knocking his Republican rivals out of the presidential race if he wins the Indiana primary next week.

On Friday, he said he is approaching the 1,237 delegates needed to clinch the nomination.

Trump, who has run as a political outsider and only recently started making inroads with the Republican establishment, called for the party to band together behind him. But said he could win the White House without them if needed.

“There should be and there has to be unity. Now with that being said, would I win, can I win without it? I think so, to be honest,” Trump told the convention. His speech drew applause, though not the fervent reception of his usual campaign rallies.

INDIANA FIGHT

Trump’s main rival, Senator Ted Cruz, on Friday picked up the backing of Governor Mike Pence of Indiana in a rearguard battle to damage Trump’s chances.

“I’m not against anybody, but I will be voting for Ted Cruz in the upcoming Republican primary,” Pence said on an Indiana radio show.

Cruz, from Texas, is trailing the former reality TV star in the Midwestern state after losing to him by a wide margin in all five Northeastern states that held nominating contests on Tuesday.

A CBS poll earlier this week found Trump with about 40 percent of support in Indiana, compared to 35 percent for Cruz. The poll had a margin of error of 6.6 points. Other polls have also shown Trump ahead.

The Republican front-runner was in California ahead of its June 7 primary, when the most convention delegates of the Republican nominating cycle will be at stake.

After his speech, Trump made a similarly unconventional exit out of the hotel via the back door.

Cheryl McDonald, 71, of Discovery Bay, said she had to pass through protesters to get inside the hotel.

“They were yelling. I think the only words they know in the dictionary are profanities,” said McDonald, who said she is a Trump supporter.

Ohio Governor John Kasich, a distant third in the race for the party’s nomination, distanced himself from what he said was a divisive campaign that preyed on voters’ fears.

“I’m worried about a divided, polarized country,” Kasich said. “It doesn’t have to be that way.”

Obama nominates first female to head West Point - from TRUNEWS

The United States Military Academy is poised to have its first woman dean in its 216-year history after President Barack Obama nominated to the post a West Point graduate who currently leads the school’s Department of Social Sciences.

Colonel Cindy Jebb, who holds a Ph.D. in political science from Duke University, needs confirmation from the U.S. Senate to take on the post. If approved, she would be promoted to brigadier general and serve as West Point’s dean of the Academic Board, the U.S. Military Academy said in a statement on Friday.

“She’s revered amongst the faculty and cadets and we’re lucky to have her,” West Point superintendent, Lieutenant General Robert Caslen, said in the statement.

The military academy in New York state was founded in 1802 and its graduates typically serve as Army officers. It accepted its first female cadets in 1976.

In January, the academy swore in it first female commandant of cadets.

Germany moves to extend “temporary border controls” past May - from TRUNEWS

Germany will ask the European Commission to allow an extension of temporary border controls within the Schengen zone of passport-free travel beyond mid-May, Interior Minister Thomas De Maiziere said on Saturday.

Germany and some other European Union members have introduced temporary border checks to control or halt record flows of migrants fleeing conflicts in Syria, Iraq and elsewhere and traveling to western Europe via the Balkans.

Germany took in more than one million migrants last year. But the number of arrivals has slowed significantly after border clampdowns were imposed by Austria and other countries along the migrants’ main Balkans route northwards from Greece.

“Even if the refugee situation has eased at internal borders along the West Balkan route, we look with concern at the developments on the external borders of the Union,” De Maiziere said in a statement.

Berlin will therefore ask the European Commission, the EU’s executive arm, to allow the border controls to be extended beyond May 12 when the legal basis for the current measures expires, he said.

A German government official said the request was a joint initiative by Germany, France, Austria, Belgium, Denmark and Sweden and the letter would be sent to Brussels on Monday.

“Member states must continue to have the flexibility and option to conduct border controls at their internal borders in cases when it is necessary,” De Maiziere said, adding such measures were required to guarantee a certain level of safety.

A European Commission source told Reuters that Brussels was leaning towards giving its green light to the request and to allow an extension of the border checks until November.

The numbers of migrant arrivals to Germany has dropped to less than 200 daily in recent weeks from more than 2,000 daily in January. At the height of the refugee crisis last autumn, more than 10,000 migrants arrived in Germany on some days.

In her weekly podcast, German Chancellor Angela Merkel urged EU member states to avoid seeking national solutions to European problems, adding that she would fight to uphold EU citizens’ right to freedom of movement and residence within the bloc.

Merkel has been critical of border closures within the EU and is instead banking on an EU-Turkey deal that took effect early April and gives Ankara political and financial benefits in return for taking back refugees and migrants who have crossed to Greece en route for Germany and other west European states.

Warren Buffett announces Q1,12% profit fall for Berkshire - from TRUNEWS

Warren Buffett on Saturday said preliminary first-quarter profit at his Berkshire Hathaway Inc (BRKa.N) (BRKb.N) fell about 12 percent, hurt by weaker performance in its railroad and insurance operations.

Quarterly operating profit for the Omaha, Nebraska-based insurance and investment conglomerate probably fell to $3.73 billion from $4.24 billion.

Net income probably rose to $5.59 billion from $5.16 billion, helped by a gain from the swap of Procter & Gamble Co (PG.N) stock for the Duracell battery business.

Buffett said insurance underwriting suffered from hailstorm claims. Railroads have been hurt by declining oil shipments.

Buffett disclosed the results at Berkshire’s annual meeting. Final results are due on May 6.

UK Labour party launches anti-semitism inquiry into former London mayor - from TRUNEWS

Britain’s opposition Labour party has launched an inquiry into how to tackle anti-semitism after suspending former London mayor Ken Livingstone days before it contests elections in London, Scotland and Wales.

Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn – a close ally of party veteran Livingstone – said in a statement that he would propose a new code of conduct explicitly banning anti-semitism and other forms of racism.

“There is no place for anti-semitism or any form of racism in the Labour party, or anywhere in society,” he said.

Labour suspended Livingstone on Thursday after he said Hitler was “supporting Zionism” when he proposed in 1932 that Jews be moved to Israel. Livingstone served as mayor from 2000 to 2008.

Labour has been struggling to pull together after Corbyn, from the party’s hard-left, swept into the leadership in September on a wave of enthusiasm among younger members for change and an end to ‘establishment politics’.

On Saturday Livingstone said his remarks were historic fact and not anti-semitic, but had been seized on by supporters of former prime minister Tony Blair in the Labour party to discredit Corbyn.

“If anyone was upset by what I said of course I’m really sorry for that,” he told broadcaster LBC. “This is about the struggle of embittered old Blairite MPs to try and get rid of Jeremy Corbyn. They whipped this issue up.”

Polls suggest Labour’s current candidate for London Mayor, Sadiq Khan, is on course to defeat his Conservative opponent Zac Goldsmith on May 5, but that Labour risks losing ground in a series of elections elsewhere in Britain.

British media reported again on Saturday that Corbyn could face a leadership challenge if the results are especially bad.

Goldsmith, in a BBC radio interview on Saturday, said Khan was “part of the same movement in the Labour party” as Livingstone and had not been clear enough in his condemnation of anti-semitism until recent weeks.

“You need to be very clear on these issues not to ride two horses. Until the mayoral campaign began, Sadiq Khan has not been anything like as clear on this issue as he has been in recent weeks,” Goldsmith said.

Khan called Livingstone’s remarks about Hitler appalling and pressed for him to be suspended.

Labour’s inquiry into anti-semitism will be led by Shami Chakrabarti, the former head of civil rights charity Liberty. She will consult Jewish and other minority groups on what counts as anti-semitism and racism, and how to deal with allegations.

Corsican’s burn Muslim prayer hall in midnight raid - from TRUNEWS

A Muslim prayer hall was seriously damaged by fire overnight in the capital of the French island of Corsica, local authorities said, four months after a separate Muslim prayer hall there was ransacked.

No one was injured in the fire in Ajaccio, which police are investigating as criminal after finding two separate sources of fire inside the hall.

“This is unacceptable,” Ajaccio mayor Laurent Marcangeli told iTELE newschannel. “Those sites are not sufficiently protected.”

In late December, the island was rocked by days of racial tension after firemen in Ajaccio were attacked on a housing estate with a large immigrant population and a Muslim prayer hall was attacked in anti-immigrant protests that followed.

Robertson predicted rise of socialist millennials in 2009 - from TRUNEWS

(TRUNEWS) On Thursday, TRUNEWS host Rick Wiles said a new poll which shows 51% of millennials reject capitalism, may be the fulfillment of a 2009 prophecy by CBN founder Pat Robertson.

In 2009, the founder of the Christian Broadcasting Network announced at his staff’s annual prayer retreat in Virginia Beach, that God told him Americans would embrace socialism, the power of the state would greatly increase, and Obama would restructure the economy away from capitalism.

“The steps taken will lead to a dramatic increase in the power of government,” Robertson said at Founders Inn on the campus of Regent University. “The people will welcome socialism in order to relieve their pain. Nothing will stand in the way of a plan by Obama to restructure the economy in the same fashion as the New Deal in the [19]30s.”

On April 25^th, Harvard Institute of Politics released their Spring 2016 Poll which showed that 51% of American millennials between the ages 18 to 29 do not support capitalism. The poll also showed that 49% of millennials supported Feminism, 48% supported Social Justice Activism, 44% supported Progressivism, and 33% outright supported Socialism — which rose to 41% when eliminating those unlikely to vote.

Thursday on TRUNEWS Rick Wiles said: “I remember that [Pat Robertson’s] statement, I was shocked, I didn’t want to hear it, I didn’t want to believe it, I was like ‘no Pat’ you missed the Lord you did not hear God. That can’t be, that cannot be Lord telling you,  the American people are going to accept socialism. But down in my gut I knew it was true! But I didn’t want to believe it, I didn’t want to accept it.”

“Pat Robertson said in 2009 that the America people will embrace socialism, the Washington Post is telling us today that a Harvard University survey says that 51% of Americans between 18-29 reject capitalism.”

“This is the result of public education, the dumbing down of the American people, of the socialist message that has been in our culture, the movies, in entertainment, in the schools, we have an entire generation now that believes socialism is the way. And if and they don’t embrace socialism, they defiantly reject capitalism, which means they’re wide open to a suggestion.”

In 2011, the Pew Research Center found a similar result to the Harvard IOP poll. In their study of millennials aged 18 to 29, 47% held a negative view of capitalism and 49% held a positive view of socialism. The noted increase in 2016 against America’s core economic structure shows an alarming trend among the largest soon-to-be ruling US population segment.

Russian Jet Barrel-Rolls US Recon Plane - from TRUNEWS

A Russian Sukhoi Su-27 jet fighter did a barrel roll over a U.S. reconnaissance plane in international airspace, CNN said on Friday, citing two U.S. defense officials in the Baltic Sea region.

CNN said the fighter came within about 100 feet (30 meters) of the American reconnaissance plane as it performed the dangerous, high-speed maneuver.

The United States has made formal protests in the past when the militaries of other countries have performed similar maneuvers. The incident comes amid increasingly aggressive military behavior toward Western countries. Russian jets recently buzzed a U.S. warship in the Baltic Sea.

US FEELS PROVOKED BY RUSSIAN FORCES

This is not the first time Russian forces have chosen to display force of power with US military.

Two warplanes flew simulated attack passes near a U.S. guided missile destroyer in the Baltic Sea , the U.S. military said, with one official describing them as one of the most aggressive interactions in recent memory.

The repeated flights by the Sukhoi SU-24 warplanes, which also flew near the ship a day earlier, were so close they created wake in the water, with 11 passes, the official said. The planes carried no visible weaponry, the official said.

A Russian KA-27 Helix helicopter also made seven passes around the USS Donald Cook, taking pictures. The nearest Russian territory was about 70 nautical miles away in its enclave of Kaliningrad, which sits between Lithuania and Poland.

“They tried to raise them (the Russian aircraft) on the radio but they did not answer,” the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity, adding the U.S. ship was in international waters.

The U.S. military released photos and videos of the incidents. In one photograph, an SU-24 appears to pass at extremely low altitude over the Donald Cook’s bow.

The events were reminiscent of the Cold War, when a series of close calls led to a bilateral agreement aimed at avoiding dangerous interactions at sea that was signed in 1972 by then-Secretary of the Navy John Warner and Soviet Admiral Sergei Gorshkov.

The agreement prohibited “simulated attacks against aircraft or ships, performing aerobatics over ships, or dropping hazardous objects near them.”

Binladin Construction Lays off 50,000 in Saudi Decline - from TRUNEWS

Construction company Saudi Binladin Group has laid off 50,000 staff, a newspaper reported on Friday, as pressure on the industry rises amid government spending cuts to survive an era of cheap oil.

The total workforce at Binladin, one of Saudi Arabia’s biggest firms and among the Middle East’s largest builders, is around 200,000, according to its LinkedIn page.

Saudi newspaper al-Watan, citing unnamed sources, reported that the group has terminated the contracts of 50,000 workers – apparently all foreigners – and given them permanent exit visa to leave the kingdom.

The paper said the workers refused to leave the country without getting paid and some had not received wages for more than four months. They were protesting in front of the Binladin’s offices in the country almost daily, the paper added.

Binladin did not immediately reply to an email seeking comment on Friday, a day off in the Gulf region.

The company has had a series of pay disputes with workers this year. In March, scores of workers gathered outside one of the company’s office in Saudi Arabia to demand unpaid wages.

Binladin prospered during Saudi Arabia’s economic boom in the past decade, employing around 200,000 workers as it built many of the kingdom’s flagship infrastructure projects including airports, roads and skyscrapers.

But like many other Saudi construction firms, it has been hit hard in the past year as low oil prices have prompted the government to slash spending in an effort to curb a budget deficit that totaled nearly $100 billion last year.

Labor market reforms, designed to push more Saudi citizens into private sector jobs, have since 2011 made it more difficult and expensive for construction firms to hire foreign workers, pressuring the industry.

In September, the Saudi royal court said Binladin had been suspended from taking new contracts after a crane toppled into Mecca’s Grand Mosque during a dust storm, killing 107 people.

An initial government probe found Binladin had not properly secured the crane. Binladin did not issue a public statement in response to the suspension.

Binladin has been discussing how to manage its debts with banks and a few have agreed to refinance some debt through steps such as extending maturities, with some providing short-term financing for the company’s working capital including staff wages, banking sources had said.

Saudi Binladen Group was founded in the 1930s by the father of the late al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden. One of the father’s over 50 children, the Islamist radical was removed as a shareholder in the business in 1993 and disowned by the family.

Trump Protest in California Yields Twenty Arrests - from TRUNEWS

Some 20 demonstrators were arrested on Thursday outside a Donald Trump campaign rally in southern California, where the Republican presidential front-runner vowed to his supporters to get tough on illegal immigration if elected.

Demonstrators smashed the window of a police squad car, marched in protest and blocked traffic as police in riot gear tried to disperse the crowd outside of the county fair grounds in Costa Mesa, California, according to local media and the Twitter account of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.

The department said on its Twitter account that about 20 arrests were made and that no major injuries were reported.

Trump visited Costa Mesa, a city of more than 100,000 people, a third of whom are Hispanic or Latino, hoping to garner support in California where voters will go to the polls during the state’s Republican primary on June 7.

TRUMP EXPECTED TO WIN CALIFORNIA PRIMARY

A strong primary win in California for the billionaire could thrust him above the delegate count needed to secure the Republican nomination for president and avoid a contested party convention in July.

During the campaign stop on Thursday, Trump promised to get tough on illegal immigration by building a wall on the border between Mexico and the United States, a popular theme of his presidential campaign, suggesting that a wall would stop drugs from coming into this country.

“The drugs are poisoning our youth and a lot of other people and we are going to get it stopped,” he said, telling the crowd that he would force Mexico to pay for the wall.

After the event, local news showed hundreds of demonstrators surrounding vehicles, waving Mexican flags and holding signs in protest of Trump outside of the Orange County Fair and Event Center. At least one demonstrator was shown jumping on the top of a police car while other demonstrators were seen shaking a police vehicle.

A Los Angeles Times reporter posted a photo on Twitter of a man wearing a Trump T-shirt with a bloodied face.

Trump has come under fire from rivals for fueling unrest with his rhetoric as several of his rallies around the country have been met by protests during the last several months.

New film exposes alliance between Turkey, Saudi Arabia and ISIS - from TRUNEWS

(TRUNEWS) A new documentary released by RT shares eye witness testimony of the horrors of ISIS, as well as the intimate oil, weapons and manpower alliance between ISIS, Turkey and Saudi Arabia.

Titled, “In the Name of the Profit”, the 25-minute exposé takes the viewer to ground zero of the war against ISIS, as an RT Documentary crew travels through the ruins of Northern Syria with kurdish forces.

In the documentary, a 13 year old boy named Adbel Malek ibn Marwan told the film crew that “they [ISIS] wouldn’t be getting any weapons from Turkey if they weren’t shipping them oil.” The young boy from the crude-rich Syrian city of Shaddadi, who has worked as an oil refinery worker in the region for a couple years, said “they [ISIS] takes the oil and come back with guns,” implying that Turkey has a direct oil for weapons program with the jihadists.

The film crew also interviewed a captured ISIS fighter named Mohammed Ahmad Mohammed. Originally from Mecca in Saudi Arabia, the 27 year old was employed as an accountant by the jihadists. He joined ISIS in Syria by flying commercially to Istanbul, and then traveling through Turkey’s Southern border. “The formalities were a breeze,” Ahmad Mohammed said, adding that crossing the border wasn’t hard either.

“It was like.. crossing the street,” the detained jihadi civil servant said. “A man told me that Islamic State had erased the borders. That there were no borders. I’d heard of it, but I didn’t quite get it until I saw it myself.”

Ahmad Mohammed claimed that “If Turkey wanted to stop the refugee influx, it could have long ago.” He ended by highlighting the barbaric parallels between ISIS and US ally Saudi Arabia by saying: “ In Saudi Arabia we have the same Islam, the same hijab, etc. So why do I need Syria?”

The Saudi Arabian connection to this insidious union is evident in the high participation rate of their citizenry, both in skilled and unskilled labor. While exploring a hospital previously operated by ISIS, fighters with the People’s Protection Units (YPG) showed the RT crew a medical office where a Saudi Arabian doctor had been providing medical care to injured jihadists. Also in the room was Turkish labeled prescription medication, pharmaceutical drugs, and medical supplies.

Though retreating ISIS fighters attempted to shred all financial and operational documentation in buildings they occupied, YPG forces were able to recover countless passports, prison information cards and financial statements. In the passports — which were from various Islamic countries such as Tunisia, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Libya and Saudi Arabia — the common theme was a ‘blood red’ official stamp from Turkish border officials in Istanbul.

The ISIS-Turkey connection is further cemented with the testimony of Muhammad Gazi Awad, another captured ISIS member who joined the jihadists when they seized Shaddadi. Awad said that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan “is the father of ISIS.”

Also exposed in the documentary were the sudo-communist practices of the Kurdish YPG, many of whom follow the religion of Zoroastrianism. The YPG fighters, comprised of both young to middle age  men and women, uninformaly refer to each other as ‘comrades’, ominously reminiscent of terminology employed by the ruling communist party in the former Soviet Union.

Historians say Zoroastrianism was founded by Zoroaster in ancient Babylonia in the 6^th Century. Zoroastrianists believe that there is one universal, transcendent, supreme god named Ahura Mazda, or the “Wise Lord” and an evil force called Angra Mainyu, or the “the bad spirit”. They believe these two opposing factions of good and evil are equal, eternal, and all powerful; and also believe in a works based salvation. These beliefs are in direct conflict with the infallible Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, making Zoroastrianism incongruous with Christianity.

Both Islam and Zoroastrianism have eerie similarities to communism which Rick Wiles has documented extensively on TRUNEWS for over 17 years to be both satanic in origin, and absolutely incompatible with Christianity.

TRUNEWS has previously reported that ISIS derives much of their funding through oil sales to Turkey, Israel and the West. Evidence submitted to the international community by Russian officials shows that the United States government and its NATO partners have been well aware of this insidious arrangement, and has been directly complicit in protecting its continuance.

Shifting Sands Mean Layoffs for Glenn Beck and TheBlaze - from TRUNEWS

(TRUNEWS) Various media reports are indicating massive internal changes within Glenn Beck’s media conglomerate TheBlaze.  A number of layoffs within the organization have been confirmed, which follows a number of senior staff level replacements that took place several months ago.

The reason:  TheBlaze has to meet the terms of a massive bank loan that the organization took out to keep the machinery going.  Quoting The Daily Beast:

Sources estimated that nearly 40 people are being laid off…in order to satisfy the requirements of a multi-million dollar bank loan taken out recently to keep Beck’s revenue-challenged enterprise running.

Subscriptions to TheBlaze have fallen significantly over the past year, and Beck’s extensive travel in support of Presidential candidate Senator Ted Cruz have been pointed to as factors in the decline within the operations.  Beck’s limited appearances on his program have also resulted in a revenue drop in ad sales managed by his privately held company Mercury Radio Arts.

In a statement by TheBlaze on Thursday (which was originally intended for Friday until the story of layoffs broke), a representative from the organization posted on the aggregate site Medium:

In spite of the massive layoffs, TheBlaze announced the addition of three key executives:

TheBlaze announced today that it has appointed three digital media industry veterans to its leadership team based in the company’s studio headquarters.

Chris Gannett joins the company as Senior Vice President of Marketing. He is the former Chief Marketing Officer of CORE Media Group, the owner and producer of powerhouse global entertainment brands including “American Idol” and “So You Think You Can Dance.”

Matt Frucci joins as Senior Vice President of Content and Programming. Previously with CNN, he was Executive Producer of “New Day” hosted by Chris Cuomo, Kate Bolduan and Michaela Pereira. Prior to CNN, Matt ran the weekend edition of “Good Morning America” at ABC News.

Lisa Fowler joins as Vice President of Talent and Culture from Viacom’s BET Networks.

Time will tell whether Glenn Beck and TheBlaze will survive the current crisis, but given Beck’s previous track record, formerly of CNN, then Fox, the iconoclastic Beck seems to always find a place to land.

Earlier this year, TRUNEWS President Rick Wiles expressed alarm over Glenn Beck’s mental health after the radio host said he would repeatedly stab billionaire Donald Trump if he got near him with a knife.  Rick Wiles said:

Speaking on his nationally syndicated radio program on Friday, Mr. Beck said, “I don’t know what I would have done if I was sitting in” Cruz or Rubio’s shoes, Beck stated. “I can’t say it that way. If I were on the stage, I would have said, ‘have you been listening to him tonight? Have you been listening to what I say about him?’ I believe these things….If I was close enough and had a knife, the stabbing just wouldn’t stop.”

Wiles is the host of TRUNEWS, a popular Christian-themed radio news program.  He said Glenn Beck’s on-air comments were more than “over the top” for a nationally-known broadcaster.  “Glenn Beck openly said on hundreds of radio stations that he wanted to repeatedly slash Donald Trump with a knife if he could get close to the Republican candidate.”

According to Wiles, Mr. Beck is “exhibiting signs of emotional instability.”

“Glenn Beck openly expressed his desire to murder a presidential candidate.  His comments are quite disturbing coming from a man who is heard by more than six million people each day.”

Wiles said he is already troubled by the rancor and viciousness of the 2016 Presidential campaign.  “Mr. Beck’s fantasy of slashing Donald Trump to death only intensifies the poisonous atmosphere of this year’s election campaign.”

The TRUNEWS host said he was shocked when he heard the audio from today’s edition of the Glenn Beck Show.  “Glenn Beck’s words were more than over the top.  They constitute a threat to commit a violent act against the leading candidate for President.  I hope the Secret Service visits Mr. Beck and orders him to get psychiatric treatment.”

“I’m not surprised that Donald Trump cancelled his appearance at CPAC. His bodyguards probably advised him to stay away from Glenn Beck!”

Boehner: Cruz Is Lucifer In The Flesh - from TRUNEWS

(TRUNEWS) Former House Speaker John Boehner called Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz “Lucifer in the flesh,” in a withering interview at Stanford University published Thursday.

In it, he repeated many of the same attacks he used last month while calling on his successor, Paul Ryan, to seek the Republican nomination.

“Lucifer in the flesh,” he told Stanford’s David Kennedy, a history professor emeritus, according to the Stanford Daily. “I have Democrat friends and Republican friends. I get along with almost everyone, but I have never worked with a more miserable son of a bitch in my life.”

This is not the first time that the former speaker has inserted himself into the 2016 election cycle.  Back in March, he endorsed the current House speaker for President:

“If we don’t have a nominee who can win on the first ballot, I’m for none of the above. They all had a chance to win. None of them won. So I’m for none of the above. I’m for Paul Ryan to be our nominee.”

In the same question-and-answer session in March, Boehner referred to Ted Cruz as “lucifer.” He previously called the Texas senator, who led the failed Republican effort to shut down the government over Obamacare, a “jackass.”

BOEHNER ALL OVER THE MAP ON POLITICAL SUPPORT

The Ohio Republican resigned last fall after pressure from conservatives on Capitol Hill, said he voted for his governor, John Kasich, in the Buckeye State primary. Boehner and Kasich served together in the House for a decade.

Boehner is also friendly with Trump. The business mogul was in the Capitol when Boehner awarded Jack Nicklaus with the congressional gold medal. Both good golfers, Boehner and Trump have hit the links together on several occasions.

John Boehner was extremely influential in securing the nomination and subsequent installation of Paul Ryan for House speaker.

VeggieTales Now a Part of ComcastNBCUniversal - from TRUNEWS

(TRUNEWS)  Comcast, owner of NBCUniversal and purchaser of DreamWorks Studios, is the new owner of Christian-themed animated characters VeggieTales. Favorites such as Larry the Cucumber and Bob the Tomato are now a part of the media, cable and broadcasting giant.

DreamWorks Animation purchased Classic Media, the parent company of Big Idea Entertainment and the VeggieTales brand in 2012. Big Idea and VeggieTales was started by Phil Vischer in 1993.

VeggieTales is an series of children’s computer animated films featuring anthropomorphic fruits and vegetables in stories conveying moral themes based on Christianity. The episodes frequently retell and recreate Bible stories anachronistically reframed and include humorous references to pop culture. The series was developed by Big Idea Entertainment and is owned by DreamWorks Animation through its subsidiary, DreamWorks Classics.

VeggieTales of Big Idea Entertainment, is now a product of Comcast, thanks to its purchase of DreamWorks

The characters in VeggieTales were originally created by Phil Vischer. He and Mike Nawrocki began producing the films (Nawrocki later took over the entire project when the rights were bought by Classic Media), and they also did many of the voices. Originally released in direct-to-video format, the series debuted on December 21, 1993. An updated series developed by DreamWorks entitled VeggieTales in the House, was added to NetFlix in 2014, and is a popular children’s selection on the streaming platform.

Regarding the $155 million sale back in 2012, Big Idea said:

“DreamWorks Animation respects and supports Big Idea’s successful history in producing faith-based, family friendly entertainment and is committed to supporting our growth,” Big Idea manager Leslie Ferrell said to Christian Retailing. “We expect many wonderful things to come of this partnership.”

Dreamworks Animation was excited about the purchase:

“[VeggieTales] is arguably one of the largest, most valuable collection of characters and branded assets left in the world today,” DreamWorks Animation CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg, said to Bloomberg News. “We see this really providing DreamWorks with whole new sets of opportunities.”

Comcast Purchases DreamWorks, Which Owns VeggieTales

Comcast Corp, the owner of NBCUniversal, said on Thursday (April 28) it would buy DreamWorks Animation for $3.8 billion.

DreamWorks Chief Executive Jeffrey Katzenberg will become chairman of DreamWorks New Media, which will include the company’s ownership interests in Awesomeness TV and NOVA.

Katzenberg will also serve as a consultant to NBCUniversal.

Comcast’s acquisition of DreamWorks Animation will add to Universal’s film library with major children’s’ franchises such as “Shrek” and “Kung Fu Panda,” which it could tap for its theme parks and consumer products’ businesses.

Parents Concerned About VeggieTales

Poll: 67% of Russians hope for God’s help - from TRUNEWS

Russians have begun to hope for God’s help, and/or have begun to speak about the predestination of people’s fate by God, twice as often in the past 25 years, sociologists said, citing a poll conducted by the All-Russia Public Opinion Research Center (VTsIOM).

The poll, which surveyed 1,600 people living in 130 populated areas, of 46 regions of Russia, was conducted on April 23-24.

Sixty-seven percent of the respondents said they hope for God’s help in their daily life to a certain extent, which is a 18 percent increase from 1991 (49 percent).

Fourteen percent of the respondents (against 21 percent in 1991) said they do not believe in God, and 11 percent said they do not hope for God’s help. Three percent of the respondents answered differently and 5 percent were undecided.

As compared to 1991, Russians now believe more in phenomena associated with religion. Fifty percent of the respondents said they believe in religious miracles, which is a 18 percent increase from 1991 (32 percent). Forty-six percent of the respondents (against 33 percent 25 years ago) are confident that there is life after death. Forty percent believe in the devil and hell (against 25 percent and 24 percent in 1991).

Responding to a question as to whether human life is predestined by higher forces, 48 percent of the respondents said that it is (against 25 percent in 1991).

Forty-five percent of the respondents surveyed in 1991, said that human life does not depend on God’s plan, and now, only 26 percent of the respondents said so. Eighteen percent of the respondents said they equally disagree, and agree, with the allegation that human life is predestined by God.

Speaking about whether anti-religious works should be banned at the legislative level, 58 percent of the respondents answered positively. This indicator has not changed since 1991 (58 percent). Twenty-five percent of the respondents spoke against such a ban, and 17 percent were undecided.

“NOT ONE CHURCH IS EMPTY”

The rise of religious sentiment among citizens has been noticed, particularly by the Russian Orthodox Church. The number of parishioners is growing not just quantitatively, but qualitatively, the head of the press service of the Patriarch Alexander Volkov told RBTH.

“We experienced the first wave of religiosity just after the Soviet period, when crowds of people went to the church, but it was not always a conscious effort,” said Volkov. “Now people are doing it with more forethought.”

The church has taken notice and over the past five years, Moscow has significantly increased the number of parishes – from 894 in 2012 to 1,110 in 2015. But this is not enough according to Volkov.

One World Media Order: Comcast Buys DreamWorks - from TRUNEWS

Comcast Corp, the owner of NBCUniversal, said on Thursday (April 28) it would buy DreamWorks Animation for $3.8 billion.

The $41-per-share cash offer represents a premium of about 27 percent to DreamWorks’ Wednesday close.

Trading in Dreamworks shares, which have gained nearly 50 percent in the last six months, was halted.

4 ways Iran is becoming a Persian Empire - from TRUNEWS

(TRUNEWS) Has the recent lifting of oil sanctions; and their inclusion in the Eurasian Trade Zone, launched Iran toward becoming a modern resurgence of the Persian Empire?

On the Tuesday edition of TRUNEWS, guest Jim Willie mentioned that Iran — who he referred to as Persia — is the 4th leg in an emerging Eurasian Trade Zone with India, China and Russia. This new trade alliance, Willie said, is establishing a ‘New Silk Road” from the ports of Lisbon, Portugal to Vladivostok, Russia and will become the dominant economic system post-US petrodollar.

Here are four developments from this week alone which signal Iran fulfilling their rise to superpower status:

1) On April 26th Iran unveiled a contingent of domestically-produced tanks. Due to international sanctions, Iran previously lacked the industrial capacity to manufacture this level of military asset. But with the historic nuclear arms deal signed by the US the Iranian military is quickly redeveloping this capability.

Tasnim news agency reported that the “Tiam” is a hybrid tank with the hull of a US Patton, the turret of a Chinese Type 69, and armaments including a 105-mm cannon, a Degtyaryov 7.62-mm light machine gun, and a NSV 12.7-mm heavy machine gun. The Tiam is also equipped with reactive armor, a common countermeasure for modern battle tanks against missiles and projectiles.

In February Iranian Defense Minister Hossein Dehghan said that Iran has also independently designed and domestically built an advanced battle tank — nicknamed the Karrar — which is superior to the Russian T-90.

On April 28th, Vyacheslav Khalitov, the deputy general director of UralVagonZavod (UVZ) told Interfax-AVN that Russia is ready to organize licensed production of T-90S tanks in Iran. However, Ahmad Reza Pourdastan — the commanding officer of the Iranian ground forces — said Iran has no intentions to continue purchasing Russian tanks, and will instead focus on domestic production.

2) On April 27th Iranian Defense Minister Hossein Dehghan said Iran will “spare no efforts to protect its security” and will actively continue to seek to boost its missile defense capabilities. Under sanctions Iran’s advanced military weaponry was limited, and attempts to purchase missile defense technology from Russia were thwarted. Since the easing of sanctions however Tehran and Moscow have restarted the arms deals — specifically in regard to the S-300 air defense missile system — and paraded the newly acquired hardware in their National Army Day parade on April 17th.

“No will or organization will be able to stand in the way and obstruct the development and upsurge of Iran’s defense capability, especially missile defense capability,” Dehghan said while attending the Moscow International Security Conference.

Dehghan also accused the United States and Israel of “supporting terrorism”, and leading the world toward another World War with their use of proxy wars,  Xinhuanet reported.

3) On April 27th Iranian Border Guards Commander Brigadier General Qassem Rezayee announced that Iran and Iraq will stage joint war-games to boost regional security.  “We will hold joint maneuvers with Iraqi border guards in the Northern part of the Persian Gulf and Arvand River in the first half of the current Iranian year [started on March 20] in a bid to boost the regional security,” FARS news agency — Iran’s unofficial state press outlet — quoted General Rezayee’s saying Wednesday.

Iranian Defense Minister Hossein Dehghan underlined in January to Iraqi National Security Adviser Falih al-Fayyadh that Tehran would continue to provide aid to Baghdad until their “final victory against the ISIL”, adding the ‘L’ — for levant —to subtly indicate a direct reference to Israel.

FARS news agency also reported that Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Quds Force (IRGC-QF) Commander Major General Qassem Soleimani has played a major role in the Iraqi and Syrian forces’ advance against terrorists in recent months.

4) On April 27th Iranian Defense Minister Hossein Dehghan said Tehran has taken the recent US deployment of 250 special forces into Syria to be an act of aggression.

“We believe its an intrusion and aggression and it contradicts with international law. Who invited the Americans to go there? What do they pursue there?” Pravda quoted Dehghan saying at a press conference.

Dehghan said that Iran’s military cooperation with Syria currently comprises of military advisors, and noted that Tehran was ready to provide “any necessary assistance if the legitimate Syrian government requests it to safeguard Syria’s sovereignty and national interests”.

Many foreign analysts have speculated that Dehghan’s assertion — that no Iranian ground forces are fighting in Syria — to only be partially true. On April 20th Ataollah Salehi, the commander-in-chief of the Iranian Armed Forces, confirmed that “volunteers” from an elite commando brigade were in Syria under the supervision of IRGC forces.

The Iranian special forces originate from an elite commando brigade of Iran’s regular army called Brigade 65. Before its recent deployment Iranian forces in Syria had mostly been part of the IRGC-QF, commanded by the infamous Major General Qassem Soleimani.

UK Banks May Sail To Paris If Brexit Wins - from TRUNEWS

Foreign banks are making inquiries about moving to France if Britain leaves the European Union, according financial industry group Paris Europlace, which is busy lobbying the French government for tax breaks to boost the attractiveness of Paris.

Four years ago, the French capital took a knock as a potential financial center when newly elected President Francois Hollande threatened an extra income tax for the rich having declared the financial sector his “enemy”.

Hollande has since turned more business friendly in his language and the tax at 75 percent on incomes above a million euros a year did not last.

Arnaud de Bresson, managing director of Paris Europlace, said that nowadays banks are more positively perceived by French politicians.

He says there is no doubt the government has an eye on the June 23 British referendum on whether to stay in the EU, the result of which could give an opportunity for Paris to grab some business from the City of London.

“You can be sure that there is work in progress,” he said in an interview. Finance Minister Michel Sapin has said France is working in the basis that Britain will stay in the EU and that there are no plans associated with a Brexit scenario.

De Bresson also said Paris Europlace, which promotes Paris and the French financial market, did not want Britain to leave the EU.

But the group has nevertheless accelerated its talks about business opportunities in Paris, de Bresson said, adding that some of international banks were “seriously interested” in increasing their operations in Paris.

He hopes to get extra tax benefits for expatriates and lower taxes for banks he said would help Paris no matter what the result of the referendum.

French Tax Incentives for Brexit Banks

Bankers in London have cast doubts on the chances of France luring much of the UK’s financial industry in the event of a leave vote, citing the country’s tax regime as major deterrent.

But international financial firms that use London as a gateway for their European operations are among those that could lose most Brexit.

De Bresson noted that Paris was up against international competition if some in Britain decided to move because it vies with Frankfurt, Dublin and Luxembourg for the role of the EU’s key financial center.

But, as would be expected, he was bullish about what Paris had to offer.

“When we ask international banks in Europe what is the difference between Paris and Frankfurt, they say in Frankfurt we have our competitors, in Paris we have our clients,” de Bresson said,

Russia, India Strengthen Ties With War Games - from TRUNEWS

Russia and India have agreed to hold joint war games involving all military branches this year. The agreement was signed in Vladivostok, with further details scheduled to be discussed next month.

Consultations on the biggest of the three drills, Indra-2016, will be held in May, the head of the Russian Defense Ministry’s Eastern Military District’s press service said on Thursday.

“A joint protocol was signed in Vladivostok to hold the first planning conference for the Indra-2016 joint exercises,” Captain Roman Martov said, as cited by RIA Novosti.

The two sides will set the exact dates and organizational details of the training.

The three major military drills the Eastern Military District will take part in this year are the Indra-Neva-2016 naval training of the Indian Navy with the Russian Pacific Fleet, the AviaIndra-2016 training of air force and air defense systems, and the major Indra-2016 combined arms training, Martov said.

Indra is a bi-annual Russian-Indian joint naval exercise, which has been conducted by Moscow and Delhi since 2003. The exercise includes live firing drills, anti-submarine operations, air defense training, counter piracy, anti-terrorist and counter drug smuggling operation drills.

In 2016, Indra will be held for the first time at the Sergeyevsky firing range in Russia’s Far Eastern Primorye territory.

Russia Forces Make Efforts at Integration With India

In December 2015, during the visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Moscow, it was announced that India was planning the biggest arms deal with Russia since 2001.

India’s Defense Acquisition Council (DAC) last week agreed the purchase of five S-400 air defense systems from Russia. The deal that reportedly might reach $US150 billion is expected to include the purchase of five S-400 air defense systems, 200 light Ka-226T helicopters, and a final commercial deal on Sukhoi/HAL Fifth Generation Fighter Aircraft (FGFA) that are being jointly developed by India and Russia based on Russia’s PAK-FA 5G fighter jet.

Uranium Thieves Arrested In Soviet Material Selloff - from TRUNEWS

Georgia’s security service said on Thursday (April 28) it had detained a group of five Georgian citizens who were trying to sell $3 million worth of the radioactive materials uranium-238 and uranium-235.

Georgia’s security service did not say whether the group had a buyer for the radioactive materials. Nor did it say where the group had acquired it.

Georgia is a former member of the Soviet Union and world leaders have been concerned about the security of Soviet nuclear weapons and stockpiles since it broke up in 1991.

DETAINED IN URANIUM ARREST

Georgia’s security service detained six Georgian and Armenian citizens who were trying to sell $200 million worth of radioactive materials earlier this month.

“Five citizens of Georgia were detained in Kobuleti (Georgia) at the moment of an illegal sale of the radioactive substance Uranium. The abovementioned persons were detained as they brought the substance to an apartment in Kobuleti in an attempt to sell it,” security service investigator Savle Motiashvili told a news briefing.

“The were aiming to sell the uranium for $3 million. The radiology review revealed that the substance Uranium, with a total weight of 1 kilogram and 665 grammes contained two radioactive isotopes,” he said.

Motiashvili added that given gamma ray emissions and the identity of the source, direct and long-term exposure to the substance was dangerous to life and health.

A Tbilisi city court sentenced the members of the group to pre-trial detention. They face five to 10 years in prison if found guilty.

The concern of the sale of former Soviet radioactive materials is that they may be used by terror groups, such as ISIS, in the construction of dirty bombs.  Much of the Cold War era material remains unaccounted for.

Panama Papers 2? New Data Dump Date Set for May 9 - from TRUNEWS

(TRUNEWS) The group of journalists who released the illegally obtained documents infamously entitled ‘The Panama Papers’, have promised a second release of documents next month.

The International Consortium of Investigative Journalists will release on May 9 a searchable database with information on more than 200,000 offshore entities that are part of the Panama Papers investigation.

In the initial disclosure, a secretive ‘John Doe’ placed himself at the center of the illegal hacking and leak of the infamous ‘Panama Papers’ from the law firm Mossack-Fonseca.  The dumping of over 11.5 million documents has resulted in a world-wide domino-like effect, impacting foreign leaders and high profile wealth-builders.

London’s Independent newspaper is reporting that the mysterious individual contacted German reporters in 2014 with a mysterious online message:

“Hello. This is John Doe. Interested in data?”

The anonymous source then began the process of off-loading terabytes of confidential data, including corporate agreements, internal company emails, private lawyer-client communications, and even copies of passports.

The Panama Papers Trail

The Panama Papers investigation revealed the secret offshore dealings of world leaders and other politicians as well as criminals and celebrities. It exposed the role of big banks in facilitating secrecy and tax evasion and avoidance. And it showed how companies and individuals blacklisted in the U.S. and elsewhere for their links to terrorism, drug trafficking and other crimes were able to do business through offshore jurisdictions.

Since its release, the Panama Papers investigation has led to high profile resignations, including the prime minister of Iceland; triggered official inquiries in multiple countries; and put pressure on world leaders and other politicians, such as Britain’s Prime Minister David Cameron, toexplain their connections to offshore companies. It sparked a new sense of urgency among lawmakers and regulators to close loopholes and make information about the owners of shell companies public.

In the U.S., where several states act as tax havens for people from all over the world, President Barack Obama commented on the Panama Papers revelations and said global tax avoidance facilitated by secrecy jurisdictions is “a huge problem.” The president added that “a lot of it is legal, but that’s exactly the problem. It’s not that they’re breaking the laws, it’s that the laws are so poorly designed.”

Obama Fails To Swing UK Opposition to Brexit Vote - from TRUNEWS

Opponents of Britain’s European Union membership have edged into the lead over the past two weeks, according to a YouGov poll for The Times, indicating President Barack Obama may have failed to swing support behind “In” vote in a June 23 Brexit referendum.

The online survey taken on Monday and Tuesday showed support for the Out campaign had risen 3 percentage points to 42 percent since a similar survey on April 12-14, while support for the “In” campaign had risen 1 percentage point to 41 percent.

U.S. President Barack Obama on Friday warned Britain would be “in the back of the queue” for a trade deal with the United States if it left the EU, an unusually strong intervention which “In” campaigners welcomed.

UK VOTING PROFILES SHIFTING ON BREXIT

The proportion of those who said they did not know how they would vote fell 3 percentage points to 13 percent, according to the YouGov poll.

The YouGov poll also suggested a big boost for the UK Independence Party (UKIP), which has campaigned to leave the EU.

The poll showed UKIP leader Nigel Farage was now more trusted on Europe than Prime Minister David Cameron, with 23 percent saying they trusted Farage and just 20 percent saying they trusted Cameron.

Though the Out campaign was in the lead, 35 percent of voters said they trusted Obama on Europe while 32 percent said they trusted Boris Johnson, the leading member of the “Out” campaign.

Reports: Drug Cartels Assisting ISIS Terrorists Into US - from TRUNEWS

Mexican drug traffickers help Islamic ISIS terrorists stationed in Mexico cross into the United States to explore targets for future attacks, according to information forwarded to Judicial Watch by a high-ranking Homeland Security official in a border state. Among the jihadists that travel back and forth through the porous southern border is a Kuwaiti named Shaykh Mahmood Omar Khabir, an ISIS operative who lives in the Mexican state of Chihuahua not far from El Paso, Texas. Khabir trained hundreds of Al Qaeda fighters in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Yemen and has lived in Mexico for more than a year, according to information provided by Judicial Watch’s government source.

Now Khabir trains thousands of men—mostly Syrians and Yemenis—to fight in an ISIS base situated in the Mexico-U.S. border region near Ciudad Juárez, the intelligence gathered by JW’s source reveals. Staking out U.S. targets is not difficult and Khabir actually brags in an Italian newspaper article published last week that the border region is so open that he “could get in with a handful of men, and kill thousands of people in Texas or in Arizona in the space of a few hours.” Foreign Affairs Secretary Claudia Ruiz, Mexico’s top diplomat, says in the article that she doesn’t understand why the Obama administration and the U.S. media are “culpably neglecting this phenomenon,” adding that “this new wave of fundamentalism could have nasty surprises in store for the United States.”

THE TERRORISTS ARE HERE NOW

This disturbing development appears on the Open Source Enterprise, the government database that collects and analyzes valuable material from worldwide print, broadcast and online media sources for the U.S. intelligence community. Only registered federal, state and local government employees can view information and analysis in the vast database and unauthorized access can lead to criminal charges. Updated data gathered on Khabir reveals he’s 52 years old and was ordered to leave Kuwait about a decade ago over his extremist positions. Khabir is currently on ISIS’s (also known as ISIL) payroll and operates a cell in an area of Mexico known as Anapra, according to the recently obtained information.

A year ago Judicial Watch reported on an ISIS camp in this exact area, just a few miles from El Paso. JW’s April 14, 2015 report identified Anapra as the location of the ISIS base, details that were provided to JW by sources that include a Mexican Army field grade officer and a Mexican Federal Police Inspector. Anapra is situated just west of Ciudad Juárez in the Mexican state of Chihuahua. At the time JW reported that another ISIS cell was established to the west of Ciudad Juárez, in Puerto Palomas to target the New Mexico towns of Columbus and Deming. Sources told JW that, during the course of a joint operation, Mexican Army and federal law enforcement officials discovered documents in Arabic and Urdu, as well as “plans” of Fort Bliss – the sprawling military installation that houses the US Army’s 1st Armored Division. Muslim prayer rugs were recovered with the documents during the operation.

Cruz Names Fiorina As VP Running Mate - from TRUNEWS

U.S. Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz has announced that former business executive Carly Fiorina will be his vice presidential running mate if he wins his party’s nomination, ABC affiliate WMUR reported, citing unnamed sources.

Fiorina, 61, endorsed Cruz, a 45-year-old U.S. senator from Texas, for the nomination in March, one month after dropping out of the Republican race herself.

The announcement of a running mate at this point in the campaign would be unusually early. Traditionally, the winners of the Republican and Democratic nominating contests announce their running mates for November’s general election at their parties’ summer national conventions.

Picking a running mate could be seen as part of a bid by Cruz to recover from Tuesday’s crushing loss to Trump, who swept party nominating contests in five U.S. Northeastern states.

The victories brought the New York billionaire closer to the 1,237 Republican National Convention delegates he needs to win the nomination at the July 18-21 event in Cleveland.

If Cruz can win a large share of the Midwestern state’s 57 delegates, it will boost the chances that Trump will not be able to amass the 1,237-delegate majority he needs to clinch the nomination on the convention’s first ballot. If he does not hit that number, Cruz, Kasich or a dark-horse establishment candidate could win the nomination on a second or subsequent ballot.

The choice of Fiorina, a former Hewlett-Packard Co chief executive, could help Cruz with women voters, a group the pugnacious Trump has had difficulty winning over to his outsider campaign.

Israeli mines found in captured ISIS cache - from TRUNEWS

(TRUNEWS) On Wednesday morning Assad’s forces intercepted a vehicle en-route to ISIS fighters containing Israeli-made mines.

According to Syrian media, the vehicle was seized while heading out of the eastern suburbs of the Syrian city of Daraa, and contained Israeli-made mines with Hebrew writing on them, as well as mortars, RPG rockets and hand grenades.

The Jerusalem Post reported that a local source in al-Suweida said:

“During operations aimed at tracking the movements of terrorist organizations and their methods to transfer ammunition, a car that contained Israeli-made anti-personnel mines, several RPG rockets and launchers and mortars of different kinds was seized.”

The terrorist driving the vehicle was “liquidated” by the Syrian forces, the source added.

ISRAEL AND ISIS

In November 2014, Israel was accused of providing medical care for wounded islamic fighters, and in September 2014 a photo of Isreali Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon claimed to show the PM shaking a terrorist’s hand.

Journalist Sharri Markson, claimed to have received firsthand accounts from wounded jihadist terrorists receiving treatment at Israel’s Ziv Medical Centre, “specializing in war traumatology, government-run and linked to the Israeli Defense Forces.”

Their recovery is aided to help them “continue the jihad in Syria,” Markson said, adding that Israeli security forces detained and interrogated her in a “heavy-handed” way for exposing what they want kept secret.

According to an extensive report by Qatari-owned al-Araby al-Jadeed, “Israel has in one way or another become the main marketer of ISIS oil. Without them, most ISIS-produced oil would have remained going between Iraq, Syria and Turkey. Even the three companies would not receive the oil if they did not have a buyer in Israel.”

In October 2015, Iraqi security forces captured an Israeli colonel, Yuri Oulen Shahak, who they claimed was working directly with ISIS terrorists. Iraqi authorities claimed at the time that he directly “participated in the ISIL group’s terrorist operations.”
