(TRUNEWS) Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich says that Presidential candidate Donald Trump represents a significant change not only in the Republican Party, but US Politics in general.
Gingrich made these statements during an interview on Fox News in response to Trump sweeping five Northeast primaries on Tuesday:
“You’d have a nationwide movement bringing pressure to bear on Cleveland. The other side is characterized by stop Trump. Not by positives or by stop Trump. Trump represents a profound rebellion. And those millions of people are going to do whatever it takes and you can have an amazing number of people coming to Cleveland if they thought this is going to get stolen.”
GINGRICH: TRUMP NOT PART OF ‘SECRET SOCIETY’
Gingrich makes regular commentaries on Trump and his candidacy. This isn’t the first time that Gingrich has noted Trump’s ability to come at the political process from the outside, suggesting in the March primaries that Trump never was ‘initiated’ into the political circles of Washington:
When asked why, Gingrich responded,
“Well because he’s an outsider, he’s not them, he’s not part of the club, he’s uncontrollable, he hasn’t been through the initiation rites, he didn’t belong to the secret society.”
Former House Speaker Gingrich is in a perfect position to know about “secret societies” especially given his affiliation with Bohemian Grove, an annual encampment that takes place every year in Monte Rio, California and is attended by some of the most powerful people in the world.
