Florida will not prosecute Trump’s campaign manager - from TRUNEWS

Donald Trump’s campaign manager Corey Lewandowski will reportedly not be prosecuted for battery in relation to a March incident in which he grabbed a reporter’s arm.

The Palm Beach county state’s attorney will hold a press conference Thursday about the decision not to press charges, Politico reports.

Lewandowki was arrested for battery in on March 29 for grabbing former Breitbart reporter Michelle Field’s arm. The campaign manager entered a not-guilty plea and Trump stood by his side. “I’m very glad that we were able to produce the tape because I don’t see anything. I see virtually nothing,” Trump said.

The Palm Beach state attorney David Aronberg said last week that the city which charged Lewandowski, Jupiter, had a low standard of “probable cause.”

“We have a higher standard to go forward with a prosecution,” Aronberg said.
