(TRUNEWS) Author Michael Snyder says God has called him to argue the case for a Post-Tribulation Rapture.
Snyder’s statements were made during an exclusive interview with Rick Wiles of TRUNEWS on Wednesday; while engaging in an honest debate on the various positions Christians in The Body of Christ hold, regarding the end times tribulation.
There are a few things which will strike the heart strings and ignite the passion of a churches congregation. A great worship. A brother and sister accepting Christ. And challenges to the doctrine of a Pre-Tribulation Rapture.
Like Rick Wiles, Jim Bakker, and other Post-Tribulation Pastors, Michael Snyder has recently decided to join the arena of contention with the publishing of his new book, “The Rapture Verdict”.
Though the book was only released 2 weeks ago, this controversial stance has already effected Snyder’s ministry, work, and circles of influence. “I’ve been officially disinvited from the [Prophecy In The News] conference for what is in my new book” he said.
Snyder was previously scheduled to give three talks at the Pikes Peak Prophecy Summit in June, but learned by email that offer has been rescinded for his statements saying Pre and Mid Tribulation Rapture proponents twist bible scripture to support their arguments.
From his research, Snyder said many Pre and Mid tribulation preachers will often quote the meaning of a bible verse completely out of context, and ignore the verses before and after which contradict their explanations.
Pastor Wiles and Michael Snyder agreed that many of the Pre and Mid tribulation stances erroneously connote that there are two comings of the Lord Jesus Christ, and also reiterated that the word “Rapture” isn’t mentioned anywhere in the Bible.
Pastor Wiles and Michael Snyder end the interview by emphasizing that what we as Christians believe about the end times does matter, and that it is quintessential for The Body of Christ to spend our time doing what God has called us to do: Share His Gospel with the unsaved.

4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
