Mother of Benghazi victim says Obama only cares about Islamic people - from TRUNEWS

(TRUNEWS) Patricia Smith, the mother of Sean Smith, the information management officer who was killed during the 2012 attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, says actions that day show Obama and the U.S. Government don’t care about Americans who aren’t Islamic.

Mrs. Smith’s statements were made during an interview with Rick Wiles of TRUNEWS  on Wednesday, during a roundtable discussion on the events surrounding the Libyan embassy attack which left 4 Americans dead, including her son Sean, U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens, and 2 former Navy Seals.

“I feel stepped on, dirty and destroyed by them,” Mrs. Smith said to Rick Wiles, regarding the treatment she has received from Hillary Clinton, and the State Department, since the attack. Mrs. Smith said she has never received an apology from Hillary Clinton, nor any actual explanation of what happened to her son that day. Additionally Mrs. Smith said every time she calls the State Department she is repeatedly told that she is not considered direct family, therefore is not entitled to further information.

Regarding her meeting with President Obama at her son’s funeral, Mrs. Smith said that he put his arms around her at the casket ceremony, but spent the moment scouring the room for further opportunities to score a great PR photo with the press.

Mrs. Smith also mentioned her meeting with former Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta, who she said cradled her face with his hands during the meeting, assuring her that she would be the first person notified once anything new was discovered in the investigation.

Mrs. Smith also reiterated that both Obama and Panetta told her that the attacks were stemmed from an inflammatory video against muslims, a fact which has been heavily disputed by experts such as former Adm. James ‘Ace’ Lyons, and retired LTC Dennis Haney.
