Refugee crisis may split EU - from TRUNEWS

(TRUNEWS) European leaders are trying to come up with plans to deal with the refugee crisis and have discussed sealing off Greece from the rest of Europe and ending passport-free travel.

The Schengen agreement allows movement between 26 European nations, but now officials think it should be suspended for two years, while they figure out how to handle the refugees.

If the idea is approved, it will seal off Greece and exclude it from the lifting of the Schengen agreement, which has infuriated the Greek migration minister. Yannis Mouzalas claims the European Commission, which is the executive body of the EU, is playing the “blame game”, according to The Telegraph.

Greece has been accused of not registering migrants or prohibiting their travel.

The EU leaders are also calling on Greece to erect camps for 300,000 refugees in an attempt to prevent them from moving north into Europe.

The situation threatens to tear apart the European Union.  Britain is threatening to leave, as reported last week by TRUNEWS http://ift.tt/1nNaOlf

The refugee crisis hits the boiling point in Germany

More than 1.83 million migrants went into Europe in 2015, most into Germany, which has caused harsh criticism of Chancellor Angela Merkel.

Protesters have called for her ousting, and a member of Alternative for Germany, has suggested she should go into exile in Chile or South America, like some Nazis did after World War II, according to RT.

One expert said the pressure on Merkel is so bad, she may suffer from hubris, which makes her immune to criticism. Psychoanalyst Hans-Joachim Maaz said that is why she is making decisions he calls “completely irrational”, according to Huffington Post.
