(TRUNEWS) Syrian rebels are selling rocket launchers – supplied by the CIA – on social media.
According to The Daily Mirror, one post on Facebook shows an AGS-17 available for purchase for $3,800.
Some of the followers of the page include people who support radical Muslim groups, like al-Qaeda, which means some of the weapons could be sold to jihadists.
The page also has a TOW missile launcher for sale, which the seller claims to come from the U.S. Pentagon. These weapons have been given by the U.S. to anti-government forces in Syria and Iraq.
One is believed to have been used against an Egyptian Navy ship last year.
Other equipment includes cameras that can be used for hunting at night, cannon shells, and MANPADS, which can bring down jets
