(TRUNEWS) Capitol Hill is on lockdown, as well as the White House, due to gunshots being reported at the Capitol visitors center.
The Dallas Morning News has reported the “shooter is down”.
Workers were told to stay in place.
One police officer was reportedly shot, but injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
