ISIS sleeper cells working inside western airports, metro stations and “sensitive facilities” - from TRUNEWS

(TRUNEWS) Leading ISIS militant Abu al-Ayna al-Ansari told Breitbart’s senior investigative reporter Aaron Klein that there are Jihadist sleeper cells working inside Western airports, metro stations and “very sensitive facilities”.

Ansari, the senior official for the Salafist movement in the Gaza Strip, made the claim to Breitbart’s senior investigative reporter and Jerusalem bureau chief during an hour-long, pre-recorded interview which will air Sunday on his show the “Aaron Klein Investigative Radio”.

Breitbart News reported that Ansari said:

“The Islamic State is a state. The Islamic State has agents all around the very sensitive facilities in the world, like metro stations, like airports and other places whether in the West or in the Arab world. We have our mujahedeen implanted in those facilities as workers, as employees, even in the security field in the airports. And they were recruited to work with the Islamic State and we proved that we succeeded to reach a very deep infiltration in these facilities. We showed it in Sinai with the Russian jet. We show it now. And everybody should understand. This is a state. This state will not disappear. It will only become bigger because this is the message. This is the prophecy of Muhammad and this is the promise of Allah”.

Though not explicitly stated, Ansari’s allegiances likely lie with ISIS and their mission, not just based off his reputation as a well-known Garan Salafist jihadist, but evidenced by his repeated use of the pronoun “we” when referring to ISIS. He also seemingly made declarations on behalf of ISIS during the interview.

Breitbart reported that out of fear of a severe crackdown, ISIS has been reluctant to officially declare its presence in Gaza. The group, however, is known to be active in the coastal enclave, with Ansari as one of the suspect leaders. On March 11 Islamic State-aligned militants claimed responsibility for launching, at least, four rockets from the Gaza Strip into Israel.

ISIS’ REIGN OF TERROR

No evidence has emerged indicating that ISIS successfully penetrated the employee rolls at Brussels airport, the metro train station, and the nuclear power plants — which went into military lockdown following the terror strikes which killed at least 34 people and wounded some 270 Tuesday.

In another attack claimed to have been executed by ISIS, a suicide bomber attacked a football stadium today, 30 miles south of Baghdad in the city of Iskanderiyah. So far, news agencies are reporting that at least 29 were killed and an untold amount injured.

Not counting today’s bloodshed, there have been 23 Islamic attacks in 22 countries in the past 30 days alone. This has resulted in the deaths of 1,118 people and has left over 2,008 injured.

With Ansari’s report that ISIS has successfully infiltrated key transportation infrastructure and “very sensitive facilities” — such as a nuclear power plant or a strategic dam — there is no telling how horrific the next attack will be.
