Christianophobia: Muslims massacre Pakistani Christians on Easter Sunday - from TRUNEWS

(TRUNEWS) On Sunday night, a bomb planted by Muslim terrorists exploded in a public park in the city of Lahore, killing many Christian families who had gathered to celebrate Easter.

Haider Ashraf, a senior Pakistani police official, confirmed to The Telegraph that at least 72 people had been killed, and over 300 were wounded. Medical workers operating ambulances said women and children made up the majority of the injured.

A splinter faction of the Islamic Pakistani Taliban has claimed responsibility for the bombing, with a spokesman for the group saying, following the massacre, “We claim responsibility for the attack on Christians as they were celebrating Easter.”

“It was part of our annual martyrdom attacks we have started this year,” he said, finishing his statement on behalf of the jihadist group. “We had been waiting for this occasion, we want to convey to the prime minister that we have arrived in Punjab and we will reach you.”

Ashraf said ball bearings were found on the ground after the attack, which he believed was a suicide bombing, and that an investigation was continuing.

Muhammad Usman, the former Lahore police captain, told the Telegraph that he believed “the blast in Lahore was a suicide attack.” He pointed out the barbarity of the attack, and the fact Christians were targeted.

“(It) was just outside the exit gate of the Gulshan Iqbal Park and a few meters away from the children’s swings,” he said.

Javed Ali, a 35-year-old who lives near the park said,  “It was overcrowded because of Easter, there were a lot of Christians there. It was so crowded I told my family not to go.”

PUNJAB ISLAMIC TERROR

Lahore is the seat of power of Punjab province, and the home state of Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. On Friday TRUNEWS reported that the spiritual leader of Glasgow’s Central Mosque, Habib ur Rehman, had praised the jihadist Mumtaz Qadri who assassinated Salman Taseer — the governor of Punjab who defended the rights of Christians being persecuted by India’s blasphemy laws.

Also included in that report was the street killing of a Glasgow Muslim shopkeeper, Asad Shah, who posted a heartfelt Easter message on Facebook just hours before he was stabbed multiple times in an ally. It read:

“Good Friday and a very Happy Easter, especially to my beloved Christian nation… Let’s follow the real footstep of beloved holy Jesus Christ and get the real success in both worlds.”

PAST TARGETING OF CHRISTIANS

On Sept. 22, 2013, All Saints Church, a historic Christian church in the city of Peshawar, was stuck by a pair of suicide bombers at the end of an outside worship gathering. The Islamic terror group Jandullah — an offshoot of the Pakistani Taliban — claimed responsibility for the attack, which killed 85 and wounded over 140.

On Nov. 6, 2014, a Muslim mob killed a Christian couple and their unborn child in Punjab province, dragging them from their home, beating them, and then burning them to death in a brick kiln. The attack occurred after a local mullah had declared the couple guilty of blasphemy, a crime which is punishable by death under Pakistan’s adopted Sharia Law.

Following the horrific murder, 40 were arrested, but no evidence was found proving Sajjad Nasir Zurjah Nazir Nasir and his wife Shyman Bibi Urf Shamar had desecrated the Quran.

On March 15, 2015, suicide bombers attacked a Christian community in the Nishtar Colony area of Lahore, setting off two explosions which killed 14 people and wounded 78. The Pakistani Taliban claimed responsibility for the deadly attack and warned of more to come.

“The Christian community is a soft target for militant outfits in Pakistan, but generally, Christians and other religious minorities are under a constant threat by the extremist elements in the society and rampant religious intolerance,” said Rabia Mehmood, a researcher at the Pakistani think tank Jinnah Institute.

Pope Francis said,  “This persecution against Christians, which the world tries to hide, might end, and that there be peace.”

CONCLUSION

According to statistics by the South Asia Terrorism Portal, an independent group that tracks the terrorism fatalities, more than 21,000 Pakistani civilians have been killed in militant violence since 2003. With Pakistan’s Christian community making up less than 2 percent of the country’s predominantly Muslim population, these attacks are clear examples of how the spread of Islam is inspiring religious persecution and the eradication of ancient Christian communities wherever it takes root.

In 1 John 4:3, the Lord states,  “Every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.”

Islam denies Jesus Christ’s resurrection and condemns the gospel as blasphemy. In countries where Sharia Law — a key tenant taught of the Quran and the Islamic faith — have been implemented, Christians have been massacred. From the millions of Christian Armenians killed in Turkey, to the latest round of terror in Pakistan, a war is being waged by Islamic leaders in the Western world seated in Judeo-Christian values.

Is it any surprise that the director of the European Strategic Intelligence Security Center said this past weekend that the same terror cell which stuck Brussels last Tuesday was planning to massacre worshippers at Easter church services across Europe and the United Kingdom?

Islam is at war with Christianity, plain and simple. The plethora of Muslim attacks over the last 45 days have left over a thousand dead and over three thousand wounded.

How much longer will Western society ignore what is written in 149 “sword verses” in the Quran, which call for any and all true Muslim followers to use violence and murder to silence Christians?

How much longer will Western society fail to acknowledge that the only “moderate” sect of the Islam are those not reading or being taught the teaching of the prophet Mohammed?
