Inspector General says Clinton broke the rules with emails - from TRUNEWS

(TRUNEWS) The State Department’s Inspector General is now saying Hillary Clinton broke the rules by using a private email server.

When Clinton was Secretary of State she did not have permission from security officials to conduct official business bypassing the official government issued email and server.

Since the breach was discovered last year there has been an ongoing probe, including by the FBI, into Clinton’s behavior.

Republicans allege she was trying to hide government records from scrutiny under public-access laws, according to Reuters.

U.S. District Court Judge Emmet G. Sullivan granted Judicial Watch discovery into Clinton’s email system as part of their Freedom of Information Act lawsuit.

Many of Clinton’s former aides have been scheduled to testify for up to seven hours. Lewis A. Lukens, the deputy assistant secretary of state appeared last week. He had emailed Patrick Kennedy and Cheryl Mills information about setting up a computer for Clinton to check her clintonemail.com account.

Judicial Watch would not reveal what Lukens said, but only claimed it was not “not helpful to either Mrs. Clinton or the Obama State Department.”

Former chief of staff Cheryl D. Mills will appear next week.  The other people to testify in the coming weeks are Stephen D. Mull, Bryan Pagliano and Huma Abedin, as reported by TRUNEWS.

Clinton may also have to testify. Attorneys for Judicial Watch have brought up the issue of before a federal court judge.
