(TRUNEWS) In recent weeks, the issue of transgender “rights” has taken center stage in the news.

North Carolina just passed the bathroom bill requiring people to use the restroom corresponding to their sex at birth. The measure caused backlash from major U.S. businesses and the Department of Justice, who has threatened to withhold federal money to the state, as reported by TRUNEWS.
A similar law was passed in Mississippi.
On Friday, the Obama Administration sent a letter to every public school district in the country to demand they allow transgender students to use the facility of their choice.
Now, Robert Jeffress, pastor of First Baptist Church in Dallas is speaking out about how Christians should respond to the transgender issue. Jeffress has been a guest several times on TRUNEWS to offer insight to Jesus followers.
Target has also taken a stance on the transgender bathroom issue, by allowing people to use the bathroom of their choice. In response, a number of conservative groups have spoken out against the policy. As a result, from April 23 to 29 car traffic fell off at Target stores, according to New York satellite data company, RS Metrics.
