A Texas congressman says that President Obama’s “open door policy” on allowing refugees from Syria into the country is providing a perfect opportunity for ISIS to sneak terrorists into the United States.

Rep. Brian Babin says that not only does the policy endanger the United States, the President himself created the problem by not acting with force after it was proven Syrian President Bashir al-Assad used chemical weapons.
“I think that it is the cause of our refugee crisis,” Babin told the Washington Free Beacon. “I think that his weak, vacillated foreign policy and his decisions and him drawing the red line and then doing nothing after the red line is crossed by Assad has created this entire situation.”
President Obama has ordered no fewer than 10,000 Syrians to be allowed into the US this fiscal year, while Secretary of State John Kerry said they will allow 85,000 in 2016 and 100,000 in 2017.
Rep. Babin says that while he has sympathy for the innocent victims of this conflict, his priority is to his oath of office.
“We know that ISIS has already pledged to exploit this refugee program,” Babin said. “I’m a compassionate Christian, but I believe that my first duty as per my oath of office is the national security of the United States and the safety of its citizens.”
