A group of western-based businesses including Google and MasterCard have come out with a full-throated endorsement of “gay rights” saying that supporting the movement is a smart move for companies that want to embrace economic growth.
The list of companies that signed off on a report hailing “gay rights”, which includes AT&T, Brunswick, IBM , LinkedIn and American Express, say that supporting the LGBT movement helps to “drive economic development” and at the same time allow the companies to hire, promote and retain the “smartest employees.”
“If countries and cities want to have economic development, they have to rise to a level of tolerance that enables them to have the kind of diverse dialogue that creates innovation,” Claudia Brind-Woody, managing director for Global Intellectual Property Licensing at IBM, said in a statement to the Thomson Reuters Foundation.
The businesses are starting a new collective called Open For Business, which cites many far-left wing political action groups such as the Human Rights Campaign on their website as a “source.” The website’s sources also link to multiple sites promoting the invalidated claims anyone who does not support the LGBT agenda is “homophobic” (which literally means afraid of gays) or bigots.
